Vinnie is originally from Alexandria, Virginia and began his bass exploration at the age of 12. Most of his bass learning came from playing live in local bands as well as studying jazz and rock styles throughout high school. During his college years and beyond, Vinnie dabled in blues with Galen Himes of Who's Blue, as well as performing studio sessions for solo guitarist Adrian Galysh and country song writer, Jon Cassandra. From there Vinnie helped to form AfunkUnation... Vinnie's influences range from John Entwistle of the Who and Billy Sheehan, to Chuck Rainey and Larry Graham.
